I was born in 1999 and was raised in Gretna, NE. I have lived here my entire life.
I graduated from Gretna High School in 2017 and enrolled at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I was a Meteorology-Climatology major. After two semesters, I transferred to UNO where I have been since the Fall of 2018.
My major is now Geography, with a concentration in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). I am beginning a second concentration in Travel and Tourism this semester.
I have traveled a lot inside of the United States. Largely in the Southwest and Southeast. My immediate family lives here in Eastern Nebraska, but the rest lives in Kentucky and Ohio so I have spent a lot of time in those two states. I have traveled to Phoenix twice in the last 12 months, both times with friends. I will be going to London at the end of this semester, which will be the first time I have left the country.
I am taking this class as it is a required class for my major/concentration. I also think that it is a good gateway to learn about other cultures on our own and through our own perspectives.
I briefly watched the video where it shows how to edit HTML documents inside of Word. The video confused me, but I do have Dreamweaver, so I plan on using that to complete my assignments. I watched the videos that were linked in Canvas. I use Google Chrome as my browser at home, and Firefox while on campus.
